Cars and Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology is the development of small technology that can be used in the future in everyday life. In cars there are many developments which can help us move forward in a safer and more environmentally friendly way. Cars are becoming lighter because of the better nanomaterials available to make them, making them more fuel efficent and reducing pollution in the air. If rain would run right off a windshield on a rainy day, there might be less accidents. Nano paints would help reduce cars from getting rusty because it would self-healing, preventing the little scratches that you get everyday on cars into turning into a huge rust spot that shortens the life time of a car.
Nano Windshield
On the left a Nano-wipe windshield and on the right a regular windshield
the difference is obvious one you can see clearly through and the other you cannot.

Nano Paint
On the right is a nanopaint where the water falls right off and the paint self heals preventing any water from damaging the car's body. On the left is a regular car paint where the water sticks to the body of the car.
